With a production timeline of just 72 hours, Jacqui Moore was bought in as MTV's Executive In Charge of Production to oversee the London recordings of Hope For Haiti Now. This included performances by Jay-Z, Beyonce, Bono & The Edge, Coldplay, Rihanna and a special appearance by Robert Pattinson. The single 'Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)' was recorded on-site at The Hospital Club and was available for pre-sale on iTunes immediately following the Telethon.

Watched by an estimated audience of 81 million in the US alone, and raising $61,000,000 in public donations, the telethon achieved the following accolades:

// Most distributed telethon in history //

// Primetime Emmy Nomination -

Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Special //

// The biggest one-day album pre-order in iTunes history //

// Broke records for donations made by the general public
